Staubitz market
Established in 1917 by John Staubitz, and now operated by John McFadden and his son, John McFadden Jr., Staubitz Market is the oldest butcher still operating in New York. It has been in the McFadden family for over 50 years.
Throughout the years it has maintained the old fashioned warmth of sawdust-strewn floors, ornamented tin ceiling, beautiful antique cashiers booth and many other original features from the turn of the century.
IDENTITY
brand positioning strategy, concept, design
Staubitz asked Level to update their logo to reflect the 100 year milestone of the business. We not only updated the logo but also created a commemorative badge for use on the website and other collateral such as bags t-shirts, hats and postcards
We are proud of our relationship with Staubitz which has spanned over 10 years and congratulate them on their centennial achievement.

Level established a web presence for Staubitz that allows its clientele to learn not only about the shop and its history but also to learn about various cuts of meats, cheeses and other pantry items.
In addition, the site allows users to navigate to its online market place located on Mercato, where customers can order a wide selection of cuts from the physical shop.

Staubitz Market collateral includes custom embroidered baseball caps, silkscreened tote bags, special order cards, and takeaway post cards.
